Mona Netser has been a seamstress since 1975.
She was introduced to sewing as a child by watching and learning from her late mother, who taught her how to sew traditional hunting wear. Sewing has been a lifelong learning experience for Mona. Using her traditional skills she now creates contemporary clothing and large realistic dolls. Mona is currently looking forward to providing a positive learning experience for students as an instructor in the Fur Production and Design program at Nunavut Arctic College.
